Family and Friends

Christmas Photo's

361 more days till Christmas (just kidding)

Was Santa good to YOU?? He sure found us this year. Although the 24th and 25th were super busy we really enjoyed time with family and friends. It was a late night on the 24th as we didn't get home from White Rock until 3AM. Thankfully the alarm was set otherwise we would have been woken up by Alishia and Joshua knocking at the door! The gang was here ready to go before 10:30AM complete with Santa's gifts in stow. I don't know how many times we heard the word "SIT!" coming from the back seat (all the way to Hope) as Alishia was training her dog on her NintendoDS. All and all it went well - stuffed ourselves with 2 turkey dinners and 1 brunch in 2 days! Wowzers!

The pictures are just a few odds and ends over the holidays....enjoy.

Merry Christmas to all ... and to all a good night

Can you believe it! It's Christmas Eve and I don't even feel like it's that time of year! For once, I was prepared and had things done in advance! For the heck of it, Chris and I went out to the mall yesterday to take a look at the chaos ... and I think we pretty much missed most of it by looking at the empty shelves! I wouldn't want to be on the shift of restocking shelves this week! Yikes, the retail stores sure have their work cut out for them. I heard on the news yesterday that there was an average of 14 Visa transactions per second!

Anyhow, I will post more pictures after our Christmas Eve day is complete ... we've got a full day ahead of us. We're looking forward to a nice breakfast prepared by Chef Zeeboy. Then off to White Rock for a fun filled day/night complete with Christmas carols and all! Casey and Chris are doing the smart thing right now and are still snoozing in bed trying to get all possible energy for the day! Me - I'm off to dry my hair.....

Merry Christmas! Make it a good one!

6 more sleeps till Christmas - but who's counting?

The presents are wrapped (except one - it's too big), the shopping is done and Christmas is just around the corner ... are YOU ready. Here is our tree - the one we found the dark. Guess it's not so bad now is it. It will be a nice break for Chris to have time off between Christmas and New Year's. Me, I'm not so lucky. I have Christmas Day off - and New Year's Day. That's it. I suppose all the "newbies" have to take their turns. Maybe next year will be better! Wishing you peace, love, joy and happiness this holiday season - from our home to yours!

Prepare for the holiday

So, we've got ALL of our Christmas shopping done. Phew, no more line ups for these 2! Lol Just need to do the wrapping, and lucky for Chris, it's my favorite part of buying gifts :)

Last weekend we went with my Mom, Dad, Sister and Brandon to find our tree. I was a little grumpy about tramping through the snow in the rain and in the dark... (we went after I was finished work) but all in all, the tree's nice and fits well by the fireplace. Stinks good! lol

Now, if we can just go and find our perfect ornament for this year, we'll be set.
